What does it mean to be connected with nature? Are we able to communicate with a different creature?
The human perception that the man himself is a separate entity and that we are the only ones to have self-awareness, deepens our sense of alienation from the natural world and negatively influences people’s psychological state especially when they separate themselves from nature. During the workshop we will try to explore knowledge which we have thanks to eco-psychology and use it to strengthen bonds, and diminish the fears associated with contact with nature.
The workshop will be conducted by the author of the idea for it: Magdalena Skowrońska – for many years a curator for the Educational Program of the Wrocław Contemporary Museum. Among many other things she leads integrating sensory workshops and workshops in opening for the experiencing art; she engages in social projects which strengthen the sense of community while using creative methodology.
