Willem Baptist (1979) is an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus, IDFA Workshop, IFFR Cinemart Lab and graduated from Willem de Kooning School of the Arts in 2009. His films have screened in competition at festivals such as IDFA, HotDocs, Toronto, Karlovy Vary, BFI London, AFI Docs and Slamdance.
His latest film WILD BOAR (2013) was awarded at the Visions Du Réel festival. His acclaimed documentary I’M NEVER AFRAID! (2010) screened at 100+ festivals.
