Discussion: Why are nature and having fun so important for children?

after a screening of “Childhood” by Margreth Olin

In Polish only

Two screenings of the films will take place, one for the parents and one for the children.

What is the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of “play”? A large segment of modern society will probably direct their thoughts toward rest, entertainment or free time from studies. During the debate, after the screening of “Childhood”, we will look at other ways of thinking about play and what perhaps should come to mind when thinking about it. Living in a constant state of hurry, in the hustle and bustle of the city and the shadow of the internet we frequently forget about where we come from and how we learned to live in peace with nature for thousands of years before. We will also have a conversation about the role of the natural environment in child development, and also about how contact with nature can bring happiness in life.
