Håvard Bustnes (b. 1973) studied TV-directing at Lillehammer University College and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He started the production company Klapp Media in 1998 and helped establish Faction Film in 2003. Today he is a full-time producer and director of documentary films and commercials. His film Big John (2008) won the award for Best Nordic Documentary at Nordisk Panorama – 5 Cities Festival, Malmö, and a Crystal Heart Award in the US.
